The only thing I don't get is that the team knew people were paying to watch DURING the game. Why does this realisation only come afterwards?! Show some guts during the game, come together and make a difference at the time. Fair play to him for coming out and saying something, but performances are what we're after rather than tweets.

Poor choice of words by Mike......on reflection implies that he thought about things before deciding to apologise for that performance....should have been an instant apology for that load of rubbish that I witnessed last night.

For Heaven's sake, Argyle's Junior Pro has come out on social media and apologised for last night's shambolic performance and we have fans nit-picking it.

It's embarrassing. We all get what he meant. Fair play to Coops for coming out and apologising.

Cooper is by far the least of our worries. He actually has done fine this season for his full debut season.

We are rudderless. And our manager has seemingly run out of ideas of how to fix it with the current squad. His comments last night were directed at the players. Yet this season his tactics have been woeful. He has no idea how to change things when things arenā€™t going well on the pitch. He has no idea how to stop the same repetitive mistakes. It comes down the coaching.

Iā€™m all for giving them a kick up the back side. Yet how can you take Lowe seriously when Watts gets in the starting line up again. You have Reeves sitting there on the bench once more. The guy canā€™t be any worse than what we witnessed last night.

Opposition teams have probably never had it so easy this season at times to open up a team.

He has been the only player to come out on social media & apologise that says a lot about his character- when you look at the other players in the team that use social media they are currently MIA

Maybe they have been told not to post anything or maybe they are just to embarrassed or not bothered

MGM - Totally agree with your views about Watts and Reeves- Watts has seemingly no ability to Mark a player that runs past him and turns like the titanic. As for Reeves, every time Iā€™ve seen him heā€™s really put a shift in, and definitely has a bit of quality about him. He deserves to start the next match for me. At one point he was trying to stop a ball in and was actually behind his CBā€™s and showing them how to try to stay with your man.

As many have said ..this team went on their holidays weeks ago. and last night was a perfect example of the current mindset...need a complete rebuild next season...starting with the defence and a few hard men/leaders....the attack looks fine ...the midfield needs a leader and the defence needs...well....good defenders ...there you go Mr Lowe....

The point for me is that the entire Argyle team knew the performance was sub par during the game. Why can they not show some resilience and put up a fight during the game? It's all very well apologising and I applaud Mike for that, but it shouldn't take 10,000 Argyle fans hollering at the team to make them put up a fight. They should be professional enough to do that for themselves.

Joe Edwards has apologised as well

Both have some balls about them and I respect them.for it.

But it's a bit like apologising to the wife because you had an affair. You got caught and it shouldn't have happened in the first place. The last 10 games culminating in the debacle last night shouldn't have happened.

Players and management to blame and they need to prove to us in the next 3 X games they are really sorry then sort themselves out for next season.

Tell you what, just as well there was no crowd last night :wtf:

I really like this bloke. He plays with a real desire and always gives 100% for the whole game. I hope he stays for next season.

Like I've said before, Lowe needs to get in strong permanent signings in the key areas of CB and CDM if he is going to stick to the way he plays. Young loan players should be further up the field where their inexperience wont punish us too much.

I don't get what you mean by constantly attacking the manager when whats missing is passion and consistency, two ingredients that can't be taught or instilled.
Have to agree about Watts, frankly a one legged Sawyer could do better.
