8 reds in 29 games seems excessive

3.625 games for each red?

Not sure why that reflects on the Ref, maybe the players deserved the red.

Can't see anything but a win for Sunderland, given both teams have been on poor runs of late. Sunderland will be busting a gut to get the points with Argyle players having had their bags packed for the holidays not giving a monkeys.

Let's hope he gives some of our youngsters a game.
Can't stand another game of same hold

Indeed. It would make my day to see them fall, yet again, at the last hurdle and miss out on the play-offs (ditto Pompey), however unlikely it appears at the moment.

Call me small minded (if you like), but I would regret any result that enables Pompous to get into the pay offs and win it.

Mick Heathcote started out at Sunderland. (And played league matches for them, unlike Hourihane).

But that doesn't seem right about SAFC playing with width.
Wyke has scored a fair few headers from crosses by recollection, but Lee Johnson is typically set on a 4-2-2-2 system; rather than shaping a system for the strengths of those available: familiar, eh.
