Never seen him play so can't judge this signing, will trust Reid and Mariners judgement though. Need to get rid of a centre back soon then if we do sign him as N'gala will add to the competition for CB.
Good news. Does this mean departures are imminent? I have had the impression that we want to keep him but maybe the pressure to trim has dictated the timing on this.

We're crying out for a specialist right-back - we were painfully short of width on Saturday. With Bhasera and Noone on one flank, and Manuel and Bolasie on the other, we'd be a totally different proposition. I'd have to rethink my mid-table prediction if that comes to fruition.
Bhasera isn't a left winger, Barry (Bondz) isn't a right back, and Summerfield isn't a right midfielder.

Good news if it happens. It shows that Reid's not going to be like a sturrock and rush into signing players and obviously wanted to take a very close look at him and has done now and surely he must be pretty good and impressed him? Also a good thing because it means that N'gala can concentrate on CB instead of being a RB because he's not. Also means that surely Duguid is now going to be 3rd/4th choice RB behind Manuel, N'gala etc. Plus he's been hanging around for so long that he deserves to sign
