Nelson for me and Fletcher a close second

I gave my vote to Fallon, he never stopped running and gave 100% effort, he won nearly every header and if we had a more experienced striker on with him i think a few of his knockdowns would have been anticipated better!!

I'm bracing myself for a backlash here, but I thought Karl Duguid was excellent today - very solid despite being out of position, defended well and was good going forward.

Incoming....................!!! :)

:iagree: Though I voted for Yala.

I'm shocked that i'm actually going to type this...

My MoM was Fallon. Won his fair share and his hold-up play was superb.

And Duguid, playing well out of position, defended astutely and his passing was well above his normal wastefulness x

Close between Clark and Fallon for me but Clark edged it because of having to change position. Fallon did win more than his usual amount of headers.

Nobody was consistently excellent. Everyone did some good things but were unable to maintain it. Fallon played very well at times. Zubar & Nelson were a good partnership. Bolasie was .... Bolasie - exciting & frustrating in equal measure. But stand-out for me was Nelson. He was good anyway but for a 17 year old.... I hope we hang on to him. He could go far!

I'm going to disagree with many people on here, I think Duguid had a shocker (he was out of position) and Fallon won less in the air than he has been recently, especially in the first hour. My MOTM goes to Bolasie, closely run by Fletcher and the ever improving Nelson.
