So, here it goes, 25 players, in ranked order, but if I've missed anyone important out, or think I've gone horribly wrong, feel free to tell me off! Paul Sturrock was relieved from his duties in December 2009, so to be eligible for the rankings, the player must have at least one Argyle appearance since December '09. Overall, I counted there to be 53 players since that date! Wow!

Early today, I asked for your views, so I've updated the rankings from my views alone to my views and the views of the Green Army! It's not too late to cast your vote though!

1. Carl Fletcher ↑(1)
2. Romain Larrieu ↓(1)
3. Bradley Wright-Phillips →
4. Jamie Mackie →
5. Craig Noone →
6. Stephane Zubar →
7. Yala Bolasie →

Personally i think Stockdale should be alot higher, i thought he was brilliant when here and if you consider he is now in the England squad he should be alot higher ranked in my eyes. Just my opinion though

I can't really fault your order much there SP..

Perhaps I'd find a spot for Mason in the top 10, and Soukouna above Duguid, but I guess you are factoring in overall ability, performances for Argyle AND attitude into your ratings.

Btw I like the team in your signature! I look forward to the day we have a team that could lace the boots of that XI! :)

Agree Mario - Connor Clifford would be top 5 for me.

I'm also a little surprised you found 25 worth ranking. However, I feel all 25 should come from the pool of players who stayed and fought through this period of madness.

p.s Fallon would be my no.1 - but before you ridicule me for this, it's for a personal non-footballing experience. He's a top, top guy. I also still regard him as a decent player too.

7. Kari Arnason
8. Stephane Zubar
9. David Stockdale
10. Curtis Nelson
11. Jamie Mackie
12. Rory Fallon
13. Joe Mason
14. Alan Judge
15. Oni Bhasera
16. Romain Larrieu
17. Jim Paterson
18. Reda Johnson
19. Luke Summerfield
20. David Gray

Cheers for the comments. I'll add Clifford! I would add Gray and Blake, but both didn't play under Mariner (I think!). I'll do a little ranking change at about 8pm this evening!

I really don't understand how Ro can be at no.2. Since Sturrock left he's rarely been no.1 choice.

For his superb leadership skills... and let's face it, the bloke's a legend. Legends don't deserve place number 25, do they? He's a favourite amongst most fans. I see your point, but does Ro not deserve no. 2?
