is being held in the Pyramid Suite.

Subs as gone up this season for no reason as we was making a good profit, now it is to expensive for some to join this season.

From £what to £what?

£5 to £6, agree no need to increase subs

From £5 to £6 a year! Probably doesn't even cover the cost of the buffet at christmas.

How does that have anything to do with the OP?!

Lot of discontent amongst the members though,it really kicked off at one point.Centred on how much different supporters groups have contributed towards the staff funds. After a long discussion and show of hands the SG's agreed to donate £400.That apart, quite an interesting talk from guest speaker Simon Walton.

Well he went back first to talk about all his former clubs and how he had had more clubs than Arnold Palmer.Best player he played with at Leeds being Mark Viduka.Spoke very highly of Dario Gradii at Crewe as well.Admitted when put on the spot by a questioner that he has had a bit of an attitude problem in the past.Wants to put all that behind him now and is enjoying his new role as team captain.Prefers playing in central midfield rather than centre back. The team are now trying to play more longball and play the game in the other team's half of the pitch rather than the itsy bitsy short passing game of Peter Reid which Simon felt got nowhere and didn't work at this level.Spent a lot of time talking about the little things that Fletch has introduced.Change of dugout, reintroducing the huddle, the introduction of the ladder. All little things but which Simon says will make a big difference. Also praised the work that Fletch and Ro are doing on the training ground. The team are regularly practising shooting on the training ground.Simon and the team are really looking forward to Saturday at Crawley.Looking to win this one and start climbing up the league.

Thanks Al.

I have been one of his harshest critics in the past but it seems that he is turning his attitude problems into something positive.
His answers certainly give the impression he is relishing his new role and the changes that Carl and Ro are making.

Attended Senior Greens today, last minute guest was Simon Walton, who turned out to be a surprising success. He answered personal questions about himself, his career and his time with PAFC placing most of his problems clearly with himself. His honesty and his positive view of the way ahead won him new fans among the Seniors including myself. Reading between the lines the players were happy with the change in manager, reflected in the performance. As with everything time will tell, hopefully he will build on his outing as captain, a role he said he was proud to hold.
