I met him in the bar at an Albion match when Argyle had just Beaten Forest 3-0 away. he was part of the corperate match sponsors and was gutted that he hadn't gone to the football. Me and my mate introduced ourselves as Argyle fans and then spent the best part of an hour talking everything Argyle. He seemed far more content yapping to 2 Argyle fans than spending time with his corporate freeloaders. He seemed like a cracking bloke and came across as a hugely passionate fan. R.I.P

No need for that!

Agreed. Dreadful and insensitive in the extreme.

Robert was a really nice man and good to talk to whenever I had the good fortune to meet him.

He was always keen to attend our PACSA social events in Cornwall and remained one of our members to the end.

He will be missed.

Condolences to his lovely wife Cindy.

I met Robert several times but unfortunately only after he had turned his lifelong support for argyle into something to make money from.

I am sure he must have deeply regretted his part in argyle's recent downturn.

Totally undeserved. Dennerly was a true gentleman and one of the straightest men I have met. A true loss to Argyle of one of their keenest supporters.

A very sad time for his family and all who had the pleasure of his company.
