At least he can get home for tea from Fleetwood each night. It will be interesting to see if he can repeat his 'saviour' mission as he did with us.

Nothing at all against Sheridan, got the club moving upwards again after the dark Fletcher days. Good luck to him.

How many times has he been sacked now?

He certainly wasn't sacked at Newport-he walked out to take over at Oldham and wasn't sacked there either-walked out to take over at Notts County, where he certainly was sacked. Got the boot at Oldham second time around, so presumably with his sacking at Chesterfield that would be 3 times-about average for a manager who has been around for a number of years.

We will not argue as to whether Sheridan should be the driver or navigator! I wonder if he will ever accumulate as many clubs as Warnock?

Very much so.

Kept us against the odds, stabilised us with a 10th place finish, before a play-off appearance in his final year. Plus set up DA with some very good players in Reuben Reid, Carl McHugh, Kelvin Mellor, Ryan Brunt and others. Luke too?

Big fat tick for me, but it was the right time for him to leave.
