I have to say it.

Adolf Hitler made a better job of Drake Circus than PCC have in two goes!

Those hideous angled orange 'features' are terrible.

Kevin it makes me feel old as i remember some of those shots in the black and white pictures, not the blitz pics, but from the 50's.

If you come along Exeter Street approaching Charles Church I think those orange features look ok. They frame the church in a way.

They are completely at odds with the church, and everything else for that matter. At least the original rebuild had some continuity to it.

I could have understood it if the glass was behind the church so you could get multiple angled reflections and 'use the light'. I just think that Staples/Bingo/orangepanelgate is a two fingers to our City and it's people during the war/blitz. Totally disrespectful, rather see Charles Church gone now tbh!
