The other thing is (I assume) that if there pillars were removed the Leithcness would be removed, which isn't what is wanted is it?

Bit expensive in fuel, not sure Argyle could afford a couple of large choppers hovering over HP continually.

Agree plus the cost of cantilevered roof would be 3 to 4 times more expensive than the £1millon mentioned for what we will be getting. I count 6 pillars in total wondered if this would be reduced to 4 since the offset between the outer pillars is fairly short. Does anybody know the build sequence is the new facade and roof going up next?

With regards to the corner being built over the new changing rooms that is how the designs show it. If you look closely you can see the modular drawn under the corner. loads of room underneath if you don't fill in and make a concourse.

With regards the pillars.Taking them away would be significantly more cost than we are paying. Not even sure the old stand structure would hold something without the front pillars. Surely something would need building over. An architect can answer that one :-)

But probably a hell of a lot more £££

The construction schedule was posted somewhere. Problem is, it's used a tool to beat the club with when a particular task slips by a day.
