Instalment 25 of the development story: 97 photos from the last 2 days.

I know, only three days since the last update but that webcam means we have to get it out quick!

Cracking photos well done Bob and Steve.

Particularly love the two T Rex shots.

Amazing photos, thanks to all concerned!! It really shows that this is going to be a proper construction job and not just a lick of paint..

Was just thinking I’d love a GoS update after the roof came off, but that I’d probably have to wait a few days.

Thanks, can’t wait to have a good look (I may or may not be more interested in this than the actual football at the moment...)

Edit... it’s details like the 1951 newspaper cutting that make these updates so engrossing. Just brilliant work

Edit x2... it’s great that the things you’re saying are in perfect condition (like the concrete terracing) are the things that are remaining. Presumably this is why a redevelopment in these circumstances is so much better than a complete rebuild, because the foundations, steel structure, upper tier and concrete terracing would cost a pretty penny from scratch.

I've now put all the other GoS updates on a NEW sub forum off the Refurb Forum.

The post are dated by the first post from Steve.

Hope that makes sense.

I really enjoy these updates. Great photos.

I wonder, is that fence primed for some sponsor boards? Every little helps and all that. especially if the TV gantry moves to the other side during construction.

I'm somewhat curious as to why the Grandstand has been completely gutted except for the M&Ms vending machine (assuming that's what it is).

Is it providing sweet sugary sustenance to the workers?

Bob and Steve - I don't underestimate the time it takes to get the photos - upload them. Caption them. Phenomenal. i can't believe how I get that little buzz of excitement as the next instalment appears! Thanks for all your efforts.
