Now on GoS, instalment 69 of the development story - 90 photos this time, down to me for a change.

Don't worry, Bob's back next week - a relief for us all! :scarf:

Really coming together. Thanks for the pictures the last year or so, really appreciate them.

Out of interest, what's the tower of scaffolding in the top of the Grandstand? Apologies if I missed the explanation if it's come before.

Ace, thank you!

Is the brickwork around the entrance area the ‘Plymouth Stone’ we saw in original plans before it was changed, or is it something else?

And is that former boardroom bit the entire open office area? That seems a tad cosy!

Great pictures Steve.

I was at the fest on the top floor of the new supporters bar yesterday and my photos disappointingly just didn't do the event justice. Thankfully yours have and are a great memento of a brilliant day.

GOS delivering the goods yet again.

The plans submitted in January 2019 say "Alexandria Grey Natural Stone Modular Tiles 600x400mm. Tumbled surface & edge limestone." So I think the latest photos show standard blockwork, ready for tiles.

Part of the former boardroom will become an open office area, with the rest made into 3 single offices by the look of it. Adjacent to these will be 2 meeting rooms at the east end of the new extension, with the rest of the extension (to the west) being the main shared office space.

This image shows it well, except that 2 extra offices to the right of the manager's office makes Office Area B much smaller.

Gotcha, so there’s still the large office area A space to the left of those individual offices.

Imagine how fantastic it will be to work there, after nearly two decades in portakabins.

One other question... where’s the press box going to be, and media suite/press conferences? I think there was a temperature media suite on the plans, near the changing rooms...

Again a great set.

GTs have done a great job with the supporters bars. Not really of interest to me as I doubt I will ever visit but 10/10 to all involved in that facility.

The stand just keeps on impressing. I do wonder if they will run out of office space for everyone but that's only minor chuff.

Oh and I am laughing at all the grandstand ST holders who bickering at getting their seats back. Blimey you are getting a top new facility. I do think ticket prices for the upper tier front few rows of seats should reflect the view though. Other clubs would charge significantly more.

Thanks again for taking your time out to do this :nworthy:

I just hope that the rust on the support columns were treated before they were covered,it's always best to remove/prime and paint before covering, thanks for another great set of pics.

Thanks GoS for the pictures.

I also wasn't sure if it was cinder blocks or actual stone that had just been used at the entrance. Plymouth limestone doesn't look like it is normally that easy to work into regular shaped blocks, but the blocks did all look like they were different textures/colours so it made me wonder. Glad that they are still doing this, and with local stone, as it will add a touch of class to an already classy looking entrance. Also will help to add some uniqueness in an age of identikit stadiums. Great idea.
