Apologies as this is a topic I've often banged on about

But seen on today's green on screen photos that there's been what looks like wooden shuttering put up in front of the control room.

Does anyone know if this suggest that the control room corner will have a clean up in the refurbishment works too, work such as concrete being poured on areas that weed's & bushes have grown for many years since the ground was dug up in the 2001 rebuild, as well as a brick wall instead of the wooden & metal mesh fence that has stood since 01 too, also a touch up to the smaller facade that hasn't been changed yet.

Any news on if any of these are happening or what will happen to this area with reference to the photos today would be much appreciated.

Could it be something like this?

Pasoti offered to pay for this to be done and we were turned down (understandably) as the club wanted to market that area for their own advertising.

So, we may have started to see the end of Bobby's Garden, which is another positive step in my book.

Cheers IJN, shame it couldn't have a nice argyle badge in the grounds corner, but I guess advertisement is key these days for income, but would only be a great positive & most fans would say improvement to that corner, as well as complete the whole side with stand refurbishment and corners being cleaned up and greatly smartened.

Hopefully the club will sort those bleddy awful, tatty wooden panels at the back of Bobbys Garden whilst they’re at it.

After the first home game I asked why they didn't recycle the boarding around the temp changing room area and use it to replace the tatty boarding in that area.
I got a reply saying the boarding is in storage for future use and that they had plans for that area. They did not say what the plan was or when it would happen.

I would love this corner to get filled in with anything... It would truly complete the ground.

is the make over still happening? is there a mock up anywhere?,, so far there has been a couple of threads on here ( going back a while )with the conclusion being that a large canvass ( as seen in the devonport) will cover that area, anyone know if thats still the case?

I’m sure it will happen in time but all of the clubs focus at the moment will be on getting the Grandstand ready for the test events and the corporate events they have already booked. The cosmetic stuff will have to wait a few months I expect. Hopefully that area will look a lot smarter by the start of next season, including getting rid of the plywood boards outside of the ground.
