Looks like the rest of the seats going in today and is it me or see they taking down the advertisement boards on the stand?

All the adverts have indeed gone. Perhaps for background painting of the mounting boards as GoS suggested yesterday?

OK, I know in the big scheme of things it really doesn't matter one jot, but those white seats should have been a couple of rows higher.
To my eye it just looks a bit out of whack having them starting on the bottom row, but then that's just me.

I'm sure we wont even see them when (ahem), all the seats are being sat on!

They couldn't put the white letters any higher because of the amount of rows of premium seats

They're doing the right thing painting behind the advertising boards 'black'.

Otherwise the brown wooden chipboard behind would stand out like a sore thumb if they take down an advert or two at the end of each season when someone decides not to continue paying for advertising.

I was told there was to be a frame around the adverts so I'm not sure what difference painting the ply would make.

If there is to be no frame, then why weren't the signs made a few inches longer to abut right up to the 'outriggers'.

Not too sure, but the background board looks much better in black, rather than light brown cheap plywood, if they ever get taken down or cant fill the entire strip with adverts.

Is it black or dark green?

I can't believe that after spending milions & millions of pounds on this refurbishment they stick some plywood up on one of the main features of the stand & paint it black before sticking the advertising on. There must surely be a smarter way to do it.

Perhaps we should see what it looks like before we declare 'Mickey Mouse' eh?

What would look smart is an electronic board, right the way across.

Would make it look more modern
