Can you lend me a knicker?

Warm the telly up. It starts in five minutes.

I've always thought they were a great idea, and if someone had only come up with a cool, well-designed version that also did coffee - surely easy enough - and that didn't remind one of John and Norma Major, I think it would have been a huge hit of great longevity.

Come on, Jonathan Ive - get on it! Integrate it with Alexa or whatever - no-brainer, surely.

I've got a filter one that used to wake me up every morning to a lovely smell of coffee.(still in the loft if anyone wants to make a bid)

Swapped it for an espresso one now.

It seems I've done them a disservice. I kind of assumed they'd died a death years ago, but looking online I see that they're still going and that there actually are some quite funky designs out there, with a radio and whatnot

No mini vacuum flask to keep the milk fresh?

TBH I quite like the 'go downstairs, let the dogs out, put the kettle on, make the tea/coffee. go back up, get back into bed. aaaaah!' scenario.
I am a man of a certain age so I have to get out of bed before drinking tea anyway!! ;)
