Me off to watch some Airwolf. JMV was pretty screwed up with his drinking (lost a leg, I think, because of it) but he was a part of my teenage tele schedule. Sad news.

Dick Dale RIP

John Peel's favourite guitarist.

Lebanese descent, Greek folk song, invention of "surf music" and Tarantino put him to good use in Pulp Fiction

Yeah!!

I remember going to the ABC in the early sixties to see them. What a guy!! We also studied Jacques Brel in French at school so he got my interest in his later career too.

Surely he should be remembered as Scott Engel?? Wasn't 'Walker' a 60's marketing ploy?

The sun ain't gonna shine anymore (today anyway)

R.I.P.

RIP Scott.
A fantastic voice and some really interesting stuff on Tilt, The Drift, etc.

Don’t know much by him, but No Regrets is a corking song.

Scott Walker, what a voice, one of my favourites. Could have easily followed the money but chose to do his own weird and wonderful thing instead.

This was awful because of their age. My daughter and I bonded over Her’s. She saw them at the Green Man Festival a few years back and came home raving and we found a mutual love of it. Far too young and so sad.

Emiliano Sala's Father Horacio dies three months after his son went down in that plane crash.
How terribly sad, poor poor man, what family grief.
God this world can be a cruel place!!

RIP.

Freddie Starr. His performing to backing tapes routine is up there with the best acts ever, and who can forget him winding up Muhammad Ali on Parkinson!
