Not the team they used to be, plenty of build up play but no end product.

There crossing apart from Kimmech was poor. Was quite a tedious game in my opinion.

France was dangerous on the counter but also lacked quality even though they have a team full of quality players they didn't seem to use it. And both teams nullified each other.

This might be just my opinion would like to hear others.

For me, one of football's biggest mysteries at present is how on earth Werner continues to get in the Chelsea and Germany teams. He is woeful every single time I watch him play. Never looks like scoring.

Playing the modern game.
Possession, pass until sleep: over, under, sideways, down (for you oldies! ;) ).
No penetration, no risks, soulless football.
I bet their stats show them up as world beaters!!

Currently thrashing Portugal 4-1.

This is all your fault Tony. You wrote off the Germans. NEVER WRITE OFF THE GERMANS.

Not name dropping but I did get a call from Joachim Löw saying that he'd read my post above (q.v.) and that he realised that they needed penetration (ooh matron!) against Portugal.

Simple game Fußball!! :scarf:

This could be England's best ever chance to get the monkey of their back and beat Germany in a knock out game.

However, if we're all being truthful with ourselves it's not going to happen, is it
