Mention of Argyle in JC’s column in The Sunday Times today. I can only assume he was watching the game on Friday!
Clarkson knows Diddly Squat about football. Hopefully we’ll be in top gear for our game at Stoke. Three points and we can think about another grand tour around some impressive stadia. If Schumacher gets the sack then it shows that he who wants to be a millionaire can’t always have things his own way.

I think people take Clarkson far too seriously. Also think the BBC tried far too hard to keep Top Gear going when without the chemistry of Clarkson Hammond and May it was dead in the car park.
The BBC own the format, having bought it years ago at huge cost from Clarkson and long-time producer Andy Wilman, who now produces The Grand Tour.

TG had been an extremely valuable asset to sell to overseas markets via BBC Worldwide, so they weren't about to let it die - and I daresay that it's still done pretty well around the world; just nowhere near as well as with the old lot.
