How does this effect overseas viewers, i can not see anything in the Argyle announcement and nothing on the Sky link.
There is nothing to suggest that the club won't continue to offer ATV for overseas subscribers.
I assume it is still the season ticket-like money-spinner that it was when they launched it; more so if they turn a blind eye to individual match passes bought with a UK credit card, which would not stand up to too much scrutiny; and even more so since they packaged it into a higher Evergreen price, where the extra advantages are Everdwindling.
Sky cannot broadcast to us, so as long as the club retains its overseas rights I am guessing the service is perfectly sustainable and the money they are getting from Sky to give up domestic rights will far outweigh the costs of producing ATV.
(On a side note, I wonder if the ATV feed will now have to go through a Sky "hub". Remember the frustration (still happens) of feeds going down and all complaints being referred to problems with the iFollow hub?)
