We need two good keepers who will push each other like when we had Larrieu and McCormick. If Super Cooper's off, as well as Burton (confirmed yesterday) will we be looking for a new first choice keeper, or a back up to Hazard? Presume Baker stays as third choice.
Is Hazard good enough to be our first choice?

Hazard can be one of them but we'd need another to challenge him.
can't see that tbh as he's only played 1 championship game this season and that was a 90th min sub yesterday! He's too untested in this league. If Cooper moves on, Christian Walton is likely to be available from Ipswich
That was who I was alluding to earlier. If Cooper moves on, Christian Walton is likely to be available from Ipswich
💯.Wages will be a bigger problem than transfer fees.
Was that the guy who was a bit of a 'character' ..... had a good bit of banter with the Demport - but had a really good game too?If we do sell Cooper for £8m we could do a lot worse than signing the Rotherham keeper for £900k and spending the surplus on other areas of the team.
Conor Ripley. Just been relegated with Port Vale. Was that the guy who was a bit of a 'character' ..... had a good bit of banter with the Demport - but had a really good game too?
No it doesn't.
what source? the season only finished yesterday!
The talk of signing Finn back to me seems crazy, as much as i would love for it to happen i cant see it happening. He has only just joined Boro for approximately £2.5m, he is playing regularly for them, so they only way we would have a sniff would be to pay upwards of £5m, its just not happening.Unless we are keeping Whittaker and can buy Finn, then I’d hope we stick to a max of 2 million per signing.
Think we need a mix of young up and coming from lower leagues, and experienced like Forshaw.
Like to pick up some free transfers too.
Key is to have a deep bench with good options to draw on, and competition for places.
Because the OP has asked if we'll break our record. We could do that without selling anyone. Just like we did last year. Why doesn’t it? It’s clear we’re not made of money and can’t afford big transfers all the time
I agree but it does then make relegation even more perilous. It's not like relegation from the Premier League where you get those huge parachute payments.💯.
Argyle will have to be comfortable with breaking their wage structure, all part of becoming a sustainable Championship club with Premier League aspirations. The journey has only just begun
