Schuey and Dewsnip disagreed on whether we should buy Mumba or Azaz.

Schuey wanted Mumba and Dewsnip wanted Azaz.

Dewsnip relented to the “manager” for the final decision.
This is a "fact" on Twitter, but never from anyone with a record for getting anything right.

Where did you hear it?

Have you just made that up?
Nope.

Believe it or not but the conversation happened.

Sliding doors moment.

If we had another £1 million in the summer we’d have got Azaz or we could have signed him and loaned Mumba.

The Brickfields investment was discussed.

I think no fan should boo a manager who gave us a league title. We should just sing janners standing shoulder to shoulder fighting on in green as one, thanks for memories now you have gone. We're always be united and strong, as Janners we are one.
Everyone booed Bobby Williamson and he brought us the title in his first game!

It would be interesting to see the results of a poll entitled “If you had to pick, would you rather take Steven Schumacher or Ryan Lowe back?”. I’ve got a feeling the majority would vote for Schumacher, but I’d vote for Lowe - at least Lowe left for a club in the division above, a club that he’s actually doing fairly well at. I was fully duped by Schumacher, I thought he genuinely loved the club, whereas with Lowe I always knew that we were a stepping stone. In a nutshell I felt far more betrayed by Schumacher than Lowe.

My view is Schuey was a brilliant manager when here, statistically the best we’ve had. He got players playing for him, it was entertaining, we had a marvellous 18 month period. He worked very hard here and he also “got” the club and embraced the area.

The manner of his departure has clearly tainted his legacy and that is so regrettable. I understand why he left and while financial security is a factor, I think he left as a career move. But I think the timing and manner of how he did it was very poor. He should have seen out this season but that is where he was too impatient and probably a bit insecure that he might not get a big manager job (in terms of club size and money) if he stayed here.

I would not boo him. The club has moved on and I would treat this game as the big relegation 6 pointer it is and ignore that sideshow . If I saw Schuey in the street I would wish him well but never at the expense of Argyle. Maybe in a couple of seasons when the dust settles, would like to see him welcomed as a guest as an Ex Argyle manager back here. And hopefully he would look back and realise his actions were poorly handled.

Car salesman analogy seems to fit our recent managers quite well.

Lowe, he'd try to sell you anything, you'd see through him, know what he is and not buy.
SS. You fall for it, he sells you the clapped out old banger and you hate him and yourself for falling for it.
Dewsnip: you go in wanting a sporty number, you come out with the practical people carrier for the whole family. Slightly annoyed at first, deep down you know he was right to do so and give a little wry grin to yourself realising what happened.
🤣

Hope the players are annoyed at him for hinting they aren't good enough when he left rather than having some misplaced loyalty to him come Saturday

I think we should recognise that he did a superb job but we probably need to move forward to a new era. Also if he were to return could we secure a helicopter no fly zone?

Completely clean slate and thinking only about last season then Schumacher should always have a place at Argyle to call home.
The way he will leave Stoke is by being sacked and it could be believable that that could happen at this season’s end, and we of course haven’t really made progress in replacing Foster.
But if it was ever likely that Schumacher would/could come back, for me he’d have to leave Stoke voluntarily and not just want to return because his bolt was shot somewhere else.
