See that Barnsley have just released Devante Cole. 6ft striker, 29 and scored 18 goals this season. Hasn't been prolific outside of League One before but could be a worthy bench option to trial this summer.

These are the types of players we need to help us solidify ourselves as the next Swansea or Preston.

I wouldn't suggest that Connolly would be a backup to Hardie, but more like a competitor for his position. He can definitely play just behind Hardie too.

We'd instantly become a better team with his addition.

Aaron Connolly has all the attributes to be a bottom-half PL forward, but finds his career tumbling down the divisions through lack of consistency.

I've watched him a lot over the years and he can be brilliant for a game or two and then go missing for half a season.
