Should have told them that the Treby Arms is only about an hours walk - they could have gone and come back whilst one of their players was down injured!

The pastys sold in the ground are OK but way over priced. I prefer to buy a pasty from one of the vans either in the life centre car park entrance or bottom of Lyndhurst Rd, not the best but better value than those sold in the ground

For the last few months I've been getting a Chicken Balti pie from our kiosk before each game and they're bloody lovely!

I had one on Saturday Glynn.
Now considering we got into the ground just after the turnstiles opened, the pie was still like a nuclear reactor. They must have had those ovens on full blast for quite some time to get them that hot.
The electricity bill must be interesting.

Time for me to give my suggestion for a new fan song another outing--first suggested in November last year and sung to the tune of Sloop John B-----'ere we go:

"I went for a cup of tea,
and an Ivor Dewdney pastie,
took it back to my seat and took a f**king big bite (f**king big bite)
thought i'd been stung
nearly coughed up a lung--oh yeah

i normally get mine from the van outside life centre entrance but to my horror sat he had run out,got to ground but ques at kiosk way to big, so waited till half time, went down as the fat lad in the middle ble his whistle & manged to get third in the que, took bout ten minutes for me to get served due to the alcohol pouring process, got my pasty only to find it was so hot couldnt eat it, was still biting at it half way through the 2nd half - couldnt comment on the taste due to the hotness, moan over
