Let us not forget the best manager/head coach (and the provider of the biggest let down) we ever had left him out at Leicester because he was worried about their pace!! If I am honest, for me Dan became out of sight out of mind because I have had to be reminded by his performances just how well he can use the ball. I suppose the QPR red card masked a lot of good points. There is certainly more to the lad than just being combative.

Him and Joe are the beating heart of our club. Living legends. When he was sidelined I felt our club was slipping away, but with him back and firing, we have got our club back.

We have looked so much stronger with him in the Defensive Unit
He may not be easy on the eye but he is the original blood & snotters defender
Every team needs a Scarrsy & he certainly relishes the challenge of keeping attackers in his back pocket
