Apologies if this has been posted before and I missed it in the excitement of promotion, but I have just heard that the dreaded cancer has taken another lifelong Pilgrim too soon.
Ian Devine (better known on here as Davie nine) passed away atSt Luke’s Hospice on 2nd May.
He was a work colleague of mine at Devon CountyCouncil for many years, Ian in Plymouth and myself in Exeter and in the years before retiring Ian worked atPlymouthCity Council.
I was not aware that he had been ill but with hindsight I realise his usually regular postings on here (usually full of interesting stats) we’re not there so much this season. I imagine a number of others on here will have known Ian through Senior Greens.
A lovely man gone too soon.
