I wonder if he was watching Dundee left-back Paul Dixon who has just left the club and would like to move to England?
Dixon only played the last 10 minutes of the first leg game but played the whole of the second leg, although I don't know if Adams watched that game as well.

In all seriousness, I think quite possibly you may be on to one here. Looks a decent player, decent experience in England and again looks like the steady eddy who Gaz is. Apparently, quite decent offensively aswell so Sawyer a more defensive option and Dixon more offensive would be a good combination.
