This match is our Cup Final! If he can play on crutches I'd have him in there....we need just one good pass (or three) to get Hardie or Morgs on the score sheet, then it's down to Coops having a worldy!

Don't think anyone fancies a last ditch against Hull!

Just shows how important his vision and experience is to our cause. Would love him to stay to offer his expertise to both Randell and Houghton.

I think we look toothless without him, and I hope he can play, but I fear that if selected he will have a go but will come off injured again. Boo hoo!

Those stats are freely available to anyone with an internet connection, but I sourced them from Opta and FBref.

Forshaw has made 18 appearances for Argyle and played a total of 642 minutes. You can definitely use his injury record as a stick to beat him with if you choose, but his ability as a footballer is without question. He's by far and away our best central midfielder and when he's fit he has to start.

really,he's hardly played for us.i wouldn't select him.

We always look a better team when Forshaw is on the pitch. He’s constantly looking to be positive and he has the ability to see and thread forward passes. He’s multi-dimensional and that’s what makes him a Championship standard CM.

And the Houghton stats in particular skewed by a 4 yard pass sideways.

Tackles won by Houghton is revealing. Someone on here was telling me he is a defensive midfielder!

Great news and gives me more optimism.

Can we please leave Hardie on the bench though and bring him on for the last 25 minutes to pinch a winner?
Hardie is still our second top scorer and loss of form is only temporary.
