Is Wimbledon pay on the gate

I just want to know if anyone knew if it is pay on the gate because, I'm working in london on that day and will be going to the match , and also what pubs are near the ground that welcomes away fans

I think it is pay on the gate but it's a popular game for the green army so I'd try and get a ticket before if I were you. Seating is sold out but where I am in the standing area still had space I think.
