A lot of good performances out there today.
Matthews was a safe pair of hands, hard to think that he only joined the club yesterday.
Toums kept it simple, a quality player and already looking like a more than useful addition to the club. Jervis ran himself into the ground for the cause and Carey upped his game in the second half, culminating in that beautiful lay off for Grant.
But for me Man of the Match was Songo'o. Again the commitment was there, a real presence in the midfield as a stopper but yet again good on the ball when it was needed. There were a few times last season when I had to look through my fingers when he was on the ball, scary stuff indeed. Not the case this season, what an improvement.
Keep up the good work mate.
