This should be a walk in the park for Argyle.
I mean Foster says we only beat poo teams before he arrived and we beat Norwich 6-2 earlier this season, so presumably he's very confident of a 4-0 win, especially since we are now apparently the away day specialists and apparently also much tighter at the back.
Pretty optimistic, as usual then, UTL.

I cannot see us getting anything from this game, myself.

Why on earth not?
We rolled them over earlier this season and Elite Coachâ„¢ says we beat rubbish teams before he got here to impart his elite tactics..he must be referring to Norwich as one of those duffers we had one of our good days against before he had to come in and take on the real teams, so, surely we'll hammer them?

I actually think we are better away from home under Foster than we were under Schuey. Still think we'll lose but I'd probably fancy our chances away from home more so than at HP

When did he say that? I have watched most if not all of his press conferences and the pre-match interactions with Charlie and I've never heard him say the words 'rubbish' or 'poo'.

Foster said: "I'm sure you have had great nights against a damn sight worse opposition than you faced tonight, truth be told, and I mean that respectfully.

Does pasoti sometimes remind anyone else of one of those hopefuls on a TV talent show finding out the show business experienced judges don't think they're that good after all, despite them believing they were going to win and become a big star. Yet everyone in the village hall show said they were brilliant and should enter.

"What do them judges know anyway ?"

So does that mean he didn’t actually say that then UTL?
The inference was 'until I turned up and had to play WBA, you (weird thing to say about the team he manages) only beat rubbish teams'. What other interpretation could there be? Ergo our 'great night' against Norwich was against an inferior team...ergo we'll beat them 4-0... can't wait

You watch those TV talent shows?
Each to their own.

Ah, thank you for clarifying that he did not say the words that you attributed to him. Why didn't you just quote him direct? I can only assume that without your exaggerated interpretation of the meaning of his words, it would not have registered with fair-minded people.

No. That’s the inference you’ve taken, others might not have.

And, to be perfectly honest, he was dead right in what he said. (Foster, that is, not utl ! )

Let's just hope Argyle's players sleep well in their beds in Norfolk tonight and feel sufficiently energised to give it a good go at Carrow Road tomorrow. If Division One teams can occasionally defeat Championship clubs in the FA Cup, there is no reason why lowly Argyle cannot spring a welcome surprise tomorrow. Bring the game on!
