I said it on Wednesday after the dreadful Blackpool game but we can aim for this. It will probably take 3 great wins and it needs Donny to drop some points against Notts Co or Orient (surely not!) but wouldn't it be lovely!

Exactly. Could be some tough games for them. In the last 11 games they've won only 4, drawn 5 and lost 2. WE CAN WIN THE LEAGUE!!!!

Assuming the best case and we're promoted in the not too distant future, wouldn't it be nice to then adopt a fairly gung ho, concentrate on our attacking prowess and ability type finish to the season ?

Even better if it helps to displace Doncaster and keep Pompey at arms length - just for the hell of it

I said something similar earlier today on one of the other threads. I cant remember who finished where etc.

Winning the League is a nice addition but soon forgotten by everyone else. Lovely bit of icing for the fans, nice line on the managers and players CVs'.

Why do you keep talking about the two as if they are mutually exclusive?

If we go out and win 6 of our last seven, we'll be pushing Donny mighty close for that title. That HAS to be the ambition of every player in our dressing room!
