I remember seeing him score a last minute goal at Burnley in our amazing League Cup run

Yet another player hit by Alzheimer's, it's frightening isn't it?

Ad astra Pilgrim.

Ah so sad. A big favourite of mine from the 70s and had the pleasure of meeting him to talk business around 1990 at his home.
Condolences to his family and friends
RIP big Neil

Very sad news. My first Argyle game was against Bournemouth at home in 1973 and Neil got the winner.

RIP Pilgrim

That's really sad news. He was one of my favourite players of that era. I remember him as a very cultured and classy defender - he would have done very well in our current side I think.

RIP Neil. Good player and very pleasant, approachable man too. Did he settle locally when he finished playing?
