Only Carey of the new play would get in last seasons team...

Oh and as we are choosing the team over the past two season I would point out that we don't have many other options than the defence that has been contracted there for the past two seasons.

Might explain exactly why we are not top 3 material. Its the same constant.

He seems to have done well since going back to Bristol but I always thought Bobby was slightly overrated by Argyle fans.

I agree with Carey and I think Matt would. Also moving McHue into midfield was a DA idea which has worked really well. Wylde on a good day is brilliant but as with all wingers he is hot and cold. As said above Brunty came on leaps and bounds under DA but at the end of the day for whatever reason this team is only a couple of wins better than last seasons. Im not really sure what this points out apart from our improvement has been pants and most of the new players were no better than last years squad.

In fact if you take Carey out then this squad is worse than last years!!!!
"this team is only a couple of wins better than last season"
True but i am pretty sure shezs small squad wasnt hit by the same number
of injuries to key players as this seasons small squad has.
As for the op. Adams hasnt gone for 532. He has got players in for the 4231.
Hence the problems with fitting tanner/wylde into a 352 now so straight
aways they aint gonna suit shezs 532. Like for like. For me JJ and allesandra
are different types but both about the same in goals/assists for the team.
Carey is definately better than bobby reid was. Although again reid was only
a kid here learning. Nobody really to compare wylde and tanner with.
Proves DA more into attacking midfielders than shez?.
Thats probably why he favours one up top a lot. That's were the attractive
football is coming from albeit let down by the final ball a bit too much.

This won't win any support but Blizzard was better than simpson..

:funny:

Stop it, please stop it.

That was really funny......

Peoples memories must be short. For whilst Bobby Reid had some decent games, in a league where set pieces are vital, he took some pretty appalling corners.....and this happened in every match  Which SHERDIAN kept letting happen every bloody game :banghead: ....... and yet people think Sheridan wasn't that bad a manager.

This, Reid was only able to hit one type of corner/free kick, and that was a floated ball easily dealt with by the opposition defence.

My favourite Dom Blizzard memory was him completely outing Sheridan in the Herald not long after (I think) our play off defeat.

My favourite Blizzard moment was when he ghosted past 3 defenders and slotted calm into the bottom corner away to Luton. Something simpson could only dream off...

Was a great moment, no denying that.

I also remember when Dougie Anderson scored for Argyle.

He managed to look good in a John Sheridan midfield.

Only a truly excellent attacking midfielder could manage to do that.
