I always think Swindon Supermarine is one of the best names in non-league football, what's the origin of that one?

The club is based in South Marsden (on the edge of Swindon) and originated from the social club of the Supermarine company that manufactured Spitfires and other military aircraft. A great name indeed.

Supermarine have a game against Winchester (who are mid-table) and Hayes & Yeading have an away game at Bracknell, who are clinging to the last playoff place.

If Parkway lose against Beaconsfield then they need both Supermarine and Hayes to get no more than a draw to stay up.

If Parkway draw they need one of Swindon and Hayes to not win.

Parkway's young striker (I believe only 19), Dylan Jones is someone Argyle should look at. He has been scoring with ease recenty and is a good dead ball specialist. It is likely someone further up the pyramid is going to snap him up in the close season. Or maybe Exeter.

Good question maybe we no longer have scouts.
Data analysts will be no good as I suspect you cannot get the data on Southern league players.

I would like to think someone at Argyle keeps an eye on 'local' sides, or maybe they concentrate on much younger players. If not, They need to read Pasoti.

I believe this particular player has been at Parkway since he was 9 years old and been developed by them. And that is without an eleven million pound investment in an academy.

There are always a number of Argyle staff at Parkway home games, especially midweek games, for example Jimmy Dickinson was at the matches last week.
Schumacher was also a frequent visitor in his time here.
