Very sad to hear this news. Always felt good when I saw the Pogles avatar which seemed to personify the "not too up, not too down" frame of mind he conveyed.
Can't do much more than echo all the other heartfelt sentiments of fellow posters.
What I will add though is that when I go, I hope I'm as well thought of by the people I met as he was by the people he never met.

Just to let you know we have received an e mail from Chris's close family.
Each and every one of the messages penned above was read to Chris the evening before he passed.
Thanks to every one of you for joining in with the love we all wanted to send to Pogles and his family.
