Five players sent off in England yesterday.

Bournemouth won 4-0
Shrewsbury won 2-1
Gillingham won 1-0
Chesterfield won 1-0
Argyle lost 4-0

Having a player sent off should not mean an automatic defeat.
Time of sending off and score at that time

Bournemouth 45+4th minute. 2-0 up.
Shrewsbury 53rd minute. 1-0 up.
Gillingham 72nd minute. 1-0 up.
Chesterfield 90th minute. 1-0 up.
Argyle 14th minute. 0-0, but facing a penalty.

Yes, having a player sent off should not mean an automatic defeat, but those are terrible examples.
I haven't kept a record but it does strike me that a number of our sendings-off this term have been relatively early.

Me neither. But weren't they all first half except Edwards' first dismissal?

Yes and what positions were the offending players? Did their dismissals result in penalties?

Don't let the above affect the agenda against Adams!

Your confidence in Adams does you credit. I for one think it’s misplaced.
