Sinclair was obviously better, in the championship, wonder goals, went on to play for Chelsea, Swansea, Man City & England.

However Kennedy has looked fantastic so far and he's on track to be a Lavery-esc loan signing perhaps better.

Just ask yourself why Cardiff are not using him and you will have your answer, if Kennedy has half the career that Sinclair has already had then hats off to the guy. One thing Inam sure we will all agree with though is that he is too good for League 2.

I don't think he has ever been named in the full England squad but he certainly played through the age groups and played in that GB Olympic malarkey.

Can Colin recall him? Sinclair was special and one of the best players I have seen turn out for Argyle, Kennedy has had a great start and looks promising.

There is NO recall. That was confirmed to me yesterday.

That's a relief as Rhys Healey is going to be out for around 9 months with torn anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments.

Can't compare them because the standard they were playing in is so very markedly different

Sinclair unfortunately didn't quite make the very top even though he played for top clubs

Kennedy strolls through this league because you can see his mind is way ahead in footballing terms than those around him

Doesn't Sinclair play for Celtic now, and is scoring regularly, he scored in each of his five first matches for them?

Fair points re level of play, age and what Sinclair went on to do.

But Kennedy could have a bigger influence on what we achieve this season - keeps scoring like this and could be a significant reason why we get promoted.
