I used to live on Glen Park Avenue which is a one minute walk to the station. It was permit parking during the week, but weekends were free.
That was 12yrs ago mind!

Downham Market to Kings Cross, should be arriving just before 10am then onto Covent Garden.

Doing the same as op, train to Manchester from Preston then down to Euston and tube across straight trip back to Preston in evening
