I agree but didn't want to say so outright as I've had the same debate already on another thread.

O'Connor's great at tackling and getting stuck in but the truly unsung art is making the difficult look easy. By putting yourself in a position to pick up loose balls and nip the ball from the feet of opposition players in a way that is done so effortlessly that it looks easy but actually when you examine it closer isn't that easy at all.

That's why I think Cox is truly unsung and I think it's also no coincidence that O'Connor puts in his best performances whenever he's alongside Cox in the team. No doubt that AOC is a good midfielder in his own right but Cox (as he did with Hourihane) does so much subtle work of the kind I just mentioned (and more) that he makes the players around him play even better. That's the indication of a genuinely unsung hero. O'Connor (like Reid, McCormick, Hartley- it's no bad thing!) is a sung hero.
