I don't think Thomas is a touchline hugging winger. I think he could easily play as a modern wide player in a front three or centrally behind the main striker. One thing about him that I have noticed from watching the pre-match warm-up is that he has an incredibly hard shot. He demonstrated this during the game on Saturday after he came on. If I was his manager I would want to get him into positions where he could shoot as much as possible.
