His legs are gone, the fact he has not been on the bench all season tells me he knows he's past it and is concentrating on coaching. He should not play a part, there is no room for sentimentality here.
Sounds harsh, but there's no way I can see him playing again, even to take a penalty.

There's a part of me that, for some reason, hates the idea of having a "joint second", no idea why! If we're 4-0 up in the home leg of the semis I'd bring Wotton on, make him captain, the whole shebang, even put him in goal if the home 'keeper is at the Devonport end, sod it.
