Harsh on Fox and ATS, but I think this is about right.

If I am honest, this team is still 2 or 3 players away from being good enough to survive in L1. It also relies on Ainsworth, Fletcher and Cifcti being the attacking options on the bench, which definitely is not enough.

Slight change:

McCormick

Threlkeld - Edwards - Bradley - Sawyer

Songo'o - Diagouraga

Jervis - Carey

Taylor Fletcher (442)

I'd be willing to sacrifice Fox, Grant and ATS to the bench, with Fletcher picking up the scraps from Taylor (the only one able to do it in my mind) it could be a winning combination.

Discussing starting line ups are a waste of time - its the tactics that are all wrong. You can have the best ingredients in the world but unless the chef knows the recipe then the dish will continue to come out half baked .... as it is doing.

It doesn't really matter how you shuffle this mediocre squad, unless the formation and tactics change, it will end the same way, boring football, disgruntled fans cussing all and sundry at more points lost.

God help us if Grant is one of our best xi. Just don't see what he offers at all.

So what is your best 11 BG ? Genuinely interested.

I tend to feel that Adams' recruitment means we don't have enough dynamism/pace in the midfield and defence to play only 2 CMs, as we are at risk of being outrun in our own half, so we need to pack the midfield.

With that in mind, I feel that Taylor is the only player with the tools to play the lone role up front. Any talk of 4-4-2 is ideological, we simply don't have the players for it.
