To remember this thread isn’t just about rosenior, worth mentioning that Mike Williamsons mk dons lost 3-0 to Crawley in the first leg of their play off semi tonight. A week ago he was one a lot of people would have taken

Williamson really didn't want to face Crawley in the play-offs as their style of play worked really well against his in their previous game. Does look like they'll probably lose the semi-final now as there is a big deficit to overturn, but ultimately he was appointed halfway through the season with the team in the bottom half. He's still had a successful season even if they don't go up.

We nearly went down... and it would have been mostly down to lack of attacking options off the bench, the opposite to the options we had in league 1 which is a tier considerably lower in standards.

So how on earth can we afford Liam Rosenior as our new head coach? If we couldn't even bring in a third striker in the last 12 months? Baffling. Rosenior is a top chap, his father you should all know from back in the day.... BUT i'd be amazed if we match his amibitions going forward...

If we can't get Pearson or a young assistant coach in that ticks the boxes Get a really influential top bloke in like Gareth Ainsworth. Really loyal and solid with the players (forget qpr they are a bunch of prima donnas) has always batted above in terms of squad size and budgets and whilst the urban myth about dire football is floating about due to our inability to score first against them in about 6 fixtures, gareth used to love high scoring matches... proof in the past.... However sadly the abuse and negativity towards him by most of you football gurus out there will put him off.

Well done. I expect a high end alternative... pressure on all of you to deliver....

Loyal? He applied for loads of jobs when he was Wycombe manager, and openly said to the press that he wanted to speak to the other clubs while still managing Wycombe. No-one would take him. Even since he's left QPR he's been applying for jobs, and again, no-one's touching him. He isn't the manager you think he is.

Liam Rosenoir, seems if he could be a good fit. However if he wants timeout etc. I'd be keen to see an experienced person in place Nigel Clough who has been in the Championship with Derby. Just got Mansfield promoted or maybe someone like Darrel Clarke who has done pretty well in League 1 & 2, I know Cheltenham went down on final day, but he picked up a team in October with 8 losses in first 11 games, he got them competitive and ended up just 2 points off safety.

I wouldn’t write off MK Dons to turn that 2nd leg around on home soil.

Set piece coach? That will do for me. Worth 10 plus goals. We must have been 24th for set pieces last season.

Yeah I did post earlier in the thread that him leaving East Midlands and prising him from Mansfield would be tough. He is though for me the sort of experienced individual, who works with tight budgets, develops players and has experience at both ends of the table who could be a good fit for Argyle.
