They do make you laugh these club statements. Chairman seems completely nonplussed as to how Jolley got the job. We had a successful caretaker manager albeit briefly but I turned around briefly and when I looked back we'd ended up with this guy in charge who doesn't share our philosophy of how the team should play. How the **** did that happen!?? :lol:

Also, that statement from Barrow seems to suggest they didn't exactly take their time finding a replacement... Football management is a funny old game.

That would be a good appointment if the likelihood was that he'll be able to pick his own team and made his own decisions, but that almost certainly won't be the case.

Oldham fans wanted to keep Kewell, they felt he was finally providing some stability to a club who are basically the Watford of the lower leagues.

Morecambe fans will be worried. Adams has rehabilitated himself after the disastrous end to his time at Argyle.

However, people who know him say he is a man of principle who would be unlikely to walk out, particularly with Morecambe being serious promotion contenders and Aberdeen having little to play for.

If they want him, they may have to wait until the end of the season. On the other hand, there may be better candidates who are available now.

Morecambe fans are lucky this hasn't come in the close season. At least he wont mess up their summer transfers because his mind is in Aberdeen.
