A brilliant turnout today for the Argyle Ladies match v Pompey at Home Park. 846 fans enjoyed an entertaining 2-2 draw between two teams who played some excellent football at times. Had Argyle not persisted in shooting sraight at the Pompey keeper they would have won the game easily. For me the highlight of the match was to see the introduction from the bench of Natasha Knapman after a six month lay off for an injury. One of her first touches was to smash the ball into the Pompey net to level the match. Kayley Lane got Argyle's opener in the first half. Let's hope they get the opportunity to play at HP again as the excellent surface really suits their style of play. Well done to all who made it happen.
