But he isn't saying that we haven't signed players because their contracts haven't expired yet.
He is saying that we will sign players - true!
... and, that there is no need to panic - true!
..... and, as it is still so early in the process, existing contracts running until 30/6 are still 'live' - true!

I'll really worry if we don't appear to have a valid starting XI by 26 July.

Can't understand all the doom and gloom from some that we haven't made signings yet. No doubt a huge amount of work is going on behind the scenes by Lowe and his staff, players everywhere will be looking at various offers with their agents before committing. We had the squad all signed up nice and early last close season and that ended well didn't it? Trust Lowe and his team to recruit wisely with what should be a healthy League 2 budget.
