Speaking of Taylor I actually recall us signing him pretty late on in last years January transfer window, last few days IIRC.

Who's to say we won't sign someone as equally as good late on again? As long as we get the right man in it doesn't matter if they come in on Jan the 1st or on deadline day.

It does matter if he were to turn his ankle in training on Friday or if Adams puts the cart before the horse and sells him to Bradford without any replacement. I guess we could call Fletcher back from his loan at Torquay or call Battle up from our youth squad to play Wigan on Saturday.

Perhaps we should remember Taylor terminated his contract at Oxford so he could join Argyle, so obviously whatever Adams offered him was attractive enough for him to join us.
Argyle have no need financially to sell so he will only go if Adams lets him go.
Bradford like us are looking for a back up to their main striker so there is no guarantee he would play regularly as he would at Argyle.
He moved with his family to Plymouth, actually Devonport so the location and family isn’t an issue.

PATIENCE.

Ah the all too familiar Argyle transfer window ‘PATIENCE’ demand.

Cifcti signing to the rescue
And we were all happy with that AT THE TIME, he only subsequently turned out to be pish.

The point being made was that the window is still open, bemoan our lack of activity if that's still the case when it shuts. Until then the knee jerking surrendermonkeyism from the usual suspects is just boring.

This worries me. Closer to home snd more wages. Losing Toums and Taylor would put us back where we came from.

If Taylor leaves then Argyle are in deep trouble.

But it seems like he is out of contract in 6 months time, so that makes things difficult.

The club should have learnt by now to extend the contracts of key players early, rather than leaving it until the last minute. In the case of Carey, it probably cost Argyle a lot of money.

Devonport? It Can’t be that good a contract then. On serious note they are very good points you make. Hopefully this one will blow over in a day or two.

Well it looks like he’ll be gone, if so let’s sort it out now so we can get replacements in. Let’s give him a new contract and pay rise, make him feel loved.

But how do you know what conversations the club have had with the player? Short answer is you don't know.

As with Carey if the player doesn’t want to discuss a new contract despite repeated offers to start talks by the Club there is nothing the Club can do, unless you know differently.

As we seen today with the news about Rose, Adams discusses contracts and other career moves with players throughout the year.
