QPR, Millwall and Wednesday got their managerial appointments spot on this season. Where as Argyle and Huddersfield have been disasters.
Wednesday sacked their promotion winning manager in the off season and then his replacement. Hardly spot on. And it wasn't our choice to lose Schumacher. As pointed out already, you forgot Birmingham and Millwall's* other managerial missteps. So not as straightforward as you suggest.

*And, I've been reminded by German Shepherd, Blackburn.

I disagree... they will want the title.
They didnt get last season and this presents another opportunity.

Anyway - my post was a little tounge-in-cheek and all ifs, buts and maybes! Not to be taken too seriously.

The cold hard facts for Argyle is that regardless of anyone elses scores we really need to pick up points tomorrow - preferably 3!
If Leicester win tomorrow and move to 97 points the title is as good as theirs. Ipswich can achieve 97 by winning all 3 but Leicester have a 15 goal advantage over them.

It’s a testament to how bad a job ainsworth did at QPR. Legacy very much damaged for him and he’ll be out of the game for a while.

Granted we've struggled since Schumacher left but Sheffield Wednesday are not safe yet and if they are relegated their managerial appointment won't look so good.

Sheffield Wednesday have taken 44 points from 33 games since Rohl took over a basket case team virtually cut adrift from the safety zone-mid table form which will look decent even if they are relegated. Don't think many Wednesday fans will hold him responsible if they do take the drop.

But surely they changed manager to avoid relegation? If that doesn't happen, despite their good form, it's a failure.

One wish for tomorrow.
If Huddersfield and us both win tomorrow we stay up (if my calculations are correct)
We can then send out the youth team to play Hull and enjoy the party.
We'd also be safe if Hudds and Birmingham drew or Wednesday drew and we won

If Wednesday went down then ironically it would make Rohl hot property for a managerless Championship club.

The key in that statement is "we won"

A win for us will be enough - regardless of the rest
It might not be, Birmingham could win today against Huddersfield and then Norwich might not have anything to play for against them on the final day. Wednesday today are playing an out of form West Brom and then a Sunderland side with nothing to play for. They could both get six points from their final two games leaving them on: Birmingham 52, Wednesday 53.

That would mean after a win today we might still need another point, or for those above us to lose their games. Blackburn are playing an out of form Coventry today, and then a Leicester side who are already promoted. Stoke could be in trouble if they think they're safe already. They might be after today if results go their way, but Southampton will want to win today after their humiliation last week against Leicester, but they could get something against Bristol City on the final day.

A win today might be enough for us, but that would need other results to go our way for that to be the case.

QPR playing with a great tempo and energy, their new Gaffer has really installed a work ethic into all their squad.
To think, we were about to go 10 POINTS clear of QPR with a better goal difference in mid February until that ludicrous goal against Coventry. I thought it at the time, even more so now - but that ridiculous drop of 2 points will come back to haunt us
Yep i said exactly the same on here . That Coventry result is going to bite us on the bum !
