A very odd decision indeed. He says he is retiring from football management - he found it very difficult to become passionate about the club.

Keith Millen, who took over with great effect at the tail end of last season from Gary Johnson, has taken the reigns on a 3 year deal.

I can kind of understand it.... I've had jobs where, after a short time, you think 'my heart isn't in this' or 'get me the f**k out of here'

My first thought was that it seems conveniant that the Villa job has just cropped up ! he says hes retiring yet wants to be involved in football in the future ?
