RYAN LOWE is ready to quit crisis club Bury and take the Plymouth Argyle job.
Boss Lowe has waited for the promoted Shakers to find a new buyer to get out of a financial mess but is frustrated at a lack of progress.
Lowe, 40, confided in players that he may have to leave because Bury have so many question marks over their budget and future.
Argyle are also pressing for an answer after approaching him a week ago, with a long-term deal on offer. Lowe would also have to uproot his family from Merseyside but he may be forced to head to Devon for more job security.
Plymouth want to announce their new man by the end of the week.
